Updated on Monday, October 12, 2026: 24 Hour Fitness has not announced its Black Friday 2026 promotion yet, but recent holiday sales give us a good idea of what may be coming.
The standout Black Friday offer in recent years has been a prepaid membership deal where shoppers buy one year and receive the second year free. The promotion appeared in 2024, and reports from the 2025 sale indicate that a similar two-year offer returned.
For 2026, we expect either another buy-one-year-get-one-year-free membership or an aggressive signup offer built around waived monthly dues and a very low join fee.

When Will 24 Hour Fitness Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best guess is around Wednesday, November 18 through Friday, November 20. That makes a launch roughly one week before Thanksgiving the most likely scenario for 2026.
We would begin checking around November 18 rather than waiting until Black Friday itself.
What Deal Should You Expect?
The promotion we would most like to see return is: Buy a prepaid one-year membership and receive the second year free.
That was the structure of the 2024 Black Friday/Cyber Monday offer. At some locations, shoppers reported paying approximately $359.76 to $431.76 in membership dues for two years, before applicable annual fees. Pricing varied by location.
Community reports from November 2025 also referenced a roughly $431 two-year 24 Hour Fitness Black Friday offer, suggesting the BOGO format continued.
If it returns in 2026, the effective monthly price could again be substantially below ordinary month-to-month membership rates.

Current Deals Set a Higher Bar for Black Friday
24 Hour Fitness is already running a fairly aggressive promotion.
As of October 2026, select KeepFit+ monthly memberships are available with a $1 join fee and the first month’s dues waived. The current offer includes a $4.99 activation fee and a $69.99 annual fee.
That means a Black Friday promotion needs to offer more than simply “$1 to join” to be noteworthy.
A two-year BOGO prepaid membership would be significantly more interesting, particularly for someone who already knows they will use the gym long term.
Membership Prices Vary by Club
There is no single nationwide 24 Hour Fitness membership price.
The current lineup uses KeepFit+, KeepFit and GetFit memberships, with pricing dependent on the club and membership tier. For example, current official club listings show monthly rates ranging from under $20 for some GetFit plans to more than $50 for higher-tier memberships in certain markets.
That makes it difficult to predict one exact Black Friday price.
Instead, compare the promotion against the regular price at the location you actually plan to use.
What Do the Current Membership Levels Include?
24 Hour Fitness has changed its membership naming since the older Platinum Black Friday offers.
The current lineup generally includes:
| Membership | General Positioning |
|---|---|
| GetFit | Basic membership, often with more limited club access |
| KeepFit | Broader club access and standard workout benefits |
| KeepFit+ | Higher-tier option with additional wellness benefits |
KeepFit+ memberships can include features such as Recovery24, Premium Fit24, monthly body scans, premium digital workouts, exclusive deals and a Buddy Pass. Availability depends on the club and membership purchased.
The old Black Friday BOGO promotions were tied to selected prepaid memberships, so the 2026 deal may not apply equally to every tier.
Watch the Annual Fee
This is the expense most likely to make the advertised Black Friday price look better than the true cost.
Current promotional memberships commonly carry a $69.99 annual fee in addition to monthly dues. The fee is generally billed shortly after enrollment and annually afterward.
If a two-year Black Friday membership returns, check whether:
- the annual fee is charged in both years
- the second year’s annual fee is waived
- the membership automatically renews after the promotional period
- dues increase after the initial term
- taxes or club-specific charges apply
The older BOGO promotion sometimes handled the second-year annual fee differently, so do not assume the 2026 terms will match previous years.
Would a Two-Year Deal Be Worth It?
For the right person, yes.
If a membership that normally costs $30 to $40 per month effectively falls near $20 per month over two years, the savings can be substantial.
But a two-year deal only makes sense if you expect to use 24 Hour Fitness regularly. Paying upfront for a gym you stop visiting after three months is not a bargain.
Before enrolling, check the club you plan to use for the equipment and amenities that matter to you. Facilities can include pools, spas, saunas, group exercise, cardio equipment and free weights, but availability varies by location.
Who Will Probably Qualify?
Expect the best Black Friday pricing to be aimed at new members.
Current 24 Hour Fitness promotional offers are generally limited to individual memberships and exclude existing members. They can also require the selected enrollment club to be within 50 miles of the member’s residence.
Previous Black Friday offers had similar restrictions.
We would expect the 2026 fine print to include some combination of:
- new members only
- participating locations only
- selected membership levels
- annual fee required
- automatic renewal after the promotional period
- personal training sold separately
Wait for the actual offer terms before assuming a membership advertised at one location will be available everywhere.
Don’t Assume Every Club Is Actually Open 24 Hours
Despite the name, hours vary by club.
24 Hour Fitness says individual locations can have different operating schedules, and holiday hours are reduced. In 2025, for example, clubs closed early on Thanksgiving and reopened on Black Friday at their regular opening time or 5 a.m. for 24/7 locations.
Check your preferred location before joining if overnight access is important to you.
When Will 24 Hour Fitness Black Friday 2026 Be Confirmed?
We expect the promotion to appear around November 18–20.
The biggest question is whether 24 Hour Fitness brings back its unusually strong buy-one-year-get-the-second-year-free structure or sticks with a more conventional $1 enrollment and free-month promotion.
Because the company is already offering $1 to join plus a free first month on select memberships, we would wait for something meaningfully better before calling the 2026 Black Friday deal exceptional.
Once the offer is announced, we’ll update this page with the confirmed sale dates, membership price, annual fee, participating tiers and eligibility requirements.
