Pep Boys Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

Pep Boys’ Black Friday 2025 sale should bring a mix of tire promotions, service coupons, and manufacturer rebates. Here’s what we’re expecting to see this year.

When the Black Friday 2025 Sale Will Run

  • Expected Start Date: Monday, November 17, 2025 (that’s 10 days before Thanksgiving).

  • Likely End Date: Monday, December 1 or Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

The 2024 sale ran until Monday, December 2, which was Cyber Monday. Pep Boys tends to keep Black Friday pricing active for around two weeks. That means the deals will still be around well after Thanksgiving, but the specific promotions may rotate.

They don’t keep every single offer live for the whole period. In past years, certain tire brands have had their Buy 2, Get 2 Free offer for only a set week within the sale window, while others stayed available the entire time. For example:

  • Cooper Tires had their week-long spotlight in the first half of the event.

  • Kumho Tires took the second week.

  • American Tourer Tires ran the full duration.

If you have your eye on a particular brand, you’ll want to check which week it’s featured before waiting too long.

What Usually Goes on Sale

From past years, Pep Boys’ Black Friday lineup generally includes five main categories:

  1. Tires – Multiple brands, with a mix of Buy 2, Get 2 Free offers and manufacturer rebates.

  2. Oil Changes – A flat discount with a coupon.

  3. Brake Service – Money off per axle, coupon required.

  4. Wheel Alignments – A smaller coupon-based discount.

  5. Battery Installation – Often free with a coupon.

The tire deals get the most attention but the service deals are worth looking at if you’re due for maintenance before winter.

Breaking Down the Typical Tire Deals

Buy 2, Get 2 Free

This is the deal Pep Boys usually advertises the most. It’s exactly what it sounds like: buy two tires, get two more for free. The catch is that you have to buy an installation package for all four, which includes things like mounting, balancing, and road hazard coverage. You can’t mix and match tire brands or sizes within the same set.

In 2024, the schedule looked like this:

  • Cooper Tires — November 17 to November 23

  • Kumho Tires — November 24 to December 2

  • American Tourer Tires — November 17 to December 2

Each deal applied to select models within those brands, not every single tire they sell.

Continental Tires

Last year’s Continental deal was one of the biggest in terms of dollar value (up to $330 off a set of four). The savings came from three parts:

  1. An instant discount at checkout.

  2. A manufacturer mail-in rebate (up to $110).

  3. A prepaid Visa card reward (up to $100).

You needed to buy qualifying models and submit rebate forms on time to get the full benefit.

Goodyear Tires

The Goodyear offer in 2024 was up to $100 back via a mail-in rebate. No instant discount — it was rebate-only. This type of deal works best if you’re comfortable waiting for the money to arrive several weeks later.

Michelin Tires

Michelin offered up to $60 back via rebate in 2024. In some cases, using a Pep Boys credit card added an extra bonus, but that depended on the promotion period.

Service Deals You’ll Likely See Again

Tires might grab the headlines, but the smaller service deals can still be worth it — especially if you were going to get the work done soon anyway.

  • Oil Change: Last year, Pep Boys offered $20 off a Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Oil Change with a coupon. The coupon had to be shown at the time of service, either printed or on your phone.

  • Wheel Alignment: $10 off with a coupon. It’s not a huge discount, but if you’re getting new tires, it’s smart to align them right away.

  • Battery Installation: Free with a coupon, but you had to buy the battery from Pep Boys.

  • Brake Service: Up to $100 off select packages — effectively $50 per axle with a coupon.

All these service deals had expiration dates tied to the sale period.
