If you’re waiting for a special Cyber Monday event from IKEA this year, don’t hold your breath. The retailer rarely launches a separate Cyber Monday promotion. Instead, its Black Friday sale, which is often called the “Winter Sale,” usually continues right through Cyber Monday before winding down in the weeks that follow.
Expected 2025 Sale Dates
For 2025, IKEA’s main holiday sale is projected to begin on Wednesday, November 26, the day before Thanksgiving. Most major markdowns will remain available through Monday, December 1, with the larger Winter Sale running well into early January. That means shoppers can still grab deals after Cyber Monday, even if the biggest offers taper off once December begins.
Typical Discounted Offered
IKEA typically includes nearly every part of the home in its holiday promotions. Discounts in 2024 ranged between 25% and 60%, depending on the product category. Home décor, cookware, and lighting were some of the most deeply discounted areas, with several sofas and holiday collections priced at half off.
