If you’re thinking about shopping Frederick’s of Hollywood during Black Friday this year, here’s a look at what you’ll likely see here in 2025; from when the sale starts, what types of discounts they usually offer, which items are typically included, and even what kinds of deals they had last year—so you know what to expect.
When the Sale Starts and Ends
Frederick’s of Hollywood usually kicks off its Black Friday sale before most other stores. Based on last year’s timing, it’s likely to start on Monday, November 24, 2025, which is the Monday before Thanksgiving.
Last year, the event ran straight through the long holiday weekend and wrapped up Sunday morning at 10:00 AM ET. Assuming they follow the same pattern, we can expect this year’s sale to end at 10:00 AM ET on Sunday, November 30, 2025. That means no Monday extension into Cyber Monday, at least based on how they’ve done things in the past.
The Kind of Discounts They Usually Offer
Frederick’s of Hollywood is known for running sitewide promotions during Black Friday, and the biggest discount we’ve seen is up to 50% off. That includes both regular-priced and clearance items when shopping directly at fredericks.com.
Last year, they used a promo code to unlock the full discount. The code was UNWRAP50, which gave customers 50% off sitewide. It’s unclear if they’ll use the same code again this year, but it’s very likely that a similar one will be announced.
Another good thing to know is that free shipping usually comes with a minimum purchase. In previous years, it was free shipping on orders of $75 or more. That may stay the same, but you’ll want to check their website during the sale for the most up-to-date shipping terms.
Specific Item Examples from Last Year
Here’s a snapshot of some of the exact deals that were available during last year’s Black Friday sale (2024). This gives a good idea of what kinds of items might show up again, possibly with new colors or updated styles:
-
Vintage Lace Corset – Originally priced at $59.50, it dropped to around $29.75 with the 50% off code.
-
Mesh & Lace Bodysuit – Regular price was $48, but with the promo, it came down to $24.
-
Satin Sleep Cami Set – This was $44 before the sale, then $22 after applying the discount.
-
Lace Underwire Bra & Matching Panty Set – Combined, these retailed for $58, and after the 50% promo, both came to $29 total.
-
Velvet Lounge Robe – Normally $64, it went down to $32.
-
Lace-Up Detail Teddy – Regularly $52, discounted to $26.
Some items were priced even lower in the clearance section, with bras as low as $14 and panties starting around $6. Sizes moved quickly though, especially for the most popular styles and colors.
Are There Any Exclusions?
While the sale is generally sitewide, there are usually some exclusions or terms you should be aware of. Last year, gift cards weren’t eligible for the promo code, and a few new arrivals were marked as not included. Also, Frederick’s doesn’t allow the stacking of multiple promo codes—so if you’re trying to use a rewards voucher or another discount, it probably won’t work during the Black Friday sale.
The 50% offer typically requires a promo code, and if you forget to enter it during checkout, the discount won’t apply automatically. There’s also usually fine print like “select styles only,” although most of the site is still included.
So if you’re shopping, make sure to double-check the cart before paying to make sure everything applied correctly.
Shipping Info
As mentioned earlier, free shipping is available on orders over $75 during the Black Friday period. For orders below that, standard shipping charges usually apply.
Frederick’s of Hollywood primarily ships to U.S. customers, so if you’re outside the United States, these Black Friday deals may not apply to your region. It’s also worth noting that shipping timelines can be longer during the holiday season, so placing your order earlier in the week might help avoid delays.
