Updated on Wednesday, September 23, 2026: Cabela’s has not released its Black Friday 2026 ad yet, but last year’s 48-page sale gives us a good idea of what to expect.
The 2025 event ran from the Monday before Thanksgiving through Sunday, with additional Black Friday-only offers when stores opened at 5:00 a.m. Fishing gear, outdoor clothing, footwear, camping equipment, marine electronics, coolers and grills were among the major categories.
For 2026, we expect the main sale to begin Monday, November 23 and run through Sunday, November 29.

These are predictions based mainly on Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops’ 2025 holiday events. Last year both retailers ran their sales November 24–30 and opened stores at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
When Will Cabela’s Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best guess is Monday, November 23.
Last year’s sale began Monday, November 24, four days before Black Friday, and was available both at cabelas.com and in stores. The main event then continued through Sunday.
Following the same calendar pattern would put this year’s start on November 23. That means most shoppers probably will not need to wait until Friday itself unless they are interested in a Friday-only doorbuster or giveaway.
What Will Cabela’s Put on Sale?
Cabela’s tends to run hundreds of individual markdowns instead of one storewide percentage.
Based on last year and the nearly identical Bass Pro Shops event, we would watch these categories first:

The exact brands and prices will not be known until the 2026 ad appears.
The Black Friday Morning Giveaway May Return
Last year, the first 250 customers at participating Cabela’s stores on Black Friday received a mystery gift card worth between $10 and $500. Shoppers had to be at least 18, and the cards were redeemable during a later December window.
Bass Pro Shops ran the same promotion, so we would not be surprised to see it return on November 27 this year.
This is one of the few reasons an early Friday-morning store visit may be more useful than shopping the sale online earlier in the week.
Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops Should Have Similar Deals
Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops have increasingly run nearly identical Black Friday events.
In 2025, both sales ran November 24–30, stores opened at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday, and both offered the first-250-customer mystery gift card promotion.
We expect that pattern to continue in 2026. If a Bass Pro Shops location is much closer to you, it may be worth comparing both ads before making a special trip to Cabela’s.
CLUB Members May Get Extra Value
Cabela’s CLUB Mastercard holders currently earn points at different rates depending on card tier: 2% for Classic, 3% for Silver and 5% for Black and Business cardholders on qualifying Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s purchases.
Cabela’s also runs CLUB-only prices and bonus-point promotions, so some Black Friday products may have a better effective price for cardholders.
If you already have the card, make sure it is connected to your Cabela’s account before the sale so your available points can be applied at checkout.
Keep Shipping in Mind
Cabela’s currently offers free shipping on qualifying orders of $50 or more, although oversized merchandise and certain other products can carry additional charges.
Ship-to-store is also free on most eligible merchandise, which can be useful for larger Black Friday orders that do not qualify for normal parcel shipping.
For bulky camping or outdoor equipment, check the final checkout total before assuming an online price is cheaper.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not for a limited-stock item.
Cabela’s Black Friday sale ended Sunday last year, with Cyber Monday following as a separate event. Previous Cyber Monday coverage has featured additional online discounts across outdoor gear, clothing and related categories.
If the exact boots, fishing gear, cooler or camping equipment you want is already at a strong price during Black Friday week, buying early is the safer move. Cyber Monday makes more sense if you are flexible and mainly looking for another round of online deals.
When Will the Cabela’s Black Friday 2026 Ad Be Released?
Last year’s full 48-page ad appeared on November 14, about two weeks before Black Friday.
We expect a similar mid-November release in 2026. Once the ad arrives, we’ll update this page with the confirmed sale dates, store hours, standout deals, CLUB offers and any Black Friday morning giveaways.
