Updated on Wednesday, October 14, 2026: American Apparel has not announced a Black Friday 2026 sale, and based on the brand’s recent history, we would not expect a traditional sitewide event.
American Apparel sat out Black Friday in 2025, just as it did in 2024, 2023 and 2022. The brand has largely moved away from the big holiday-sale model, which makes another year without an official Black Friday promotion the most likely outcome.
That does not mean American Apparel products will be impossible to find at a discount. Third-party retailers may still run their own promotions.

These are predictions until American Apparel announces otherwise.
Will American Apparel Have a Black Friday Sale in 2026?
Probably not.
American Apparel did not run an official Black Friday sale in 2025, and Blacker Friday’s sale history shows no event in 2024, 2023 or 2022 either.
That is a long enough pattern that we would not plan around a direct Black Friday promotion this year.
If something does appear, it would be a change from the brand’s recent approach rather than a continuation of an annual sale.
Where Can You Find American Apparel Deals?
The better option is likely to be third-party sellers.
American Apparel products are sold through outside retailers, including Amazon, and the brand’s own FAQ directs customers who purchased there to Amazon for shipping and returns.
That matters during Black Friday because retailers can discount American Apparel merchandise independently even if the brand itself does not run a promotion.
The categories worth checking include:
- basic T-shirts
- hoodies and sweatshirts
- tanks
- leggings
- underwear
- multipacks
If you know the exact style number you want, searching by that model is usually easier than browsing broad sale pages.
T-Shirts and Basics Are the Most Likely Deals
American Apparel’s appeal has always centered on simple wardrobe basics, so those are the products most likely to show up in retailer promotions.
Last year’s Black Friday coverage pointed shoppers toward alternative places to find comparable basics rather than an official American Apparel sale.
For 2026, the same strategy makes sense: compare the actual selling price across retailers rather than waiting for a sitewide coupon that may never arrive.
Don’t Expect the Old American Apparel Black Friday Sales to Return Automatically
American Apparel did participate in Black Friday more regularly years ago.
Blacker Friday’s archive includes sales going back to 2014, with the last listed promotional year in 2021 before several consecutive years without a sale.
So older American Apparel Black Friday ads are not a very good guide for what to expect now.
The company’s current retail setup is different, and the recent four-year streak without a sale is much more relevant.
There Are No Physical American Apparel Stores Right Now
American Apparel currently says it does not operate any store locations.
That means any 2026 Black Friday shopping will be online rather than a matter of checking local store hours or in-store doorbusters.
If you buy through a marketplace such as Amazon, shipping and return terms will follow that retailer’s policies rather than American Apparel’s direct-store rules.
The Old Le Club Program Is Gone
American Apparel’s FAQ also confirms that its former Le Club loyalty program is no longer active.
So there is no membership program to join for early Black Friday access or extra rewards.
That keeps things simple: if a discount appears, the main things to compare are the final price, seller reputation, shipping and return policy.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not specifically for American Apparel.
Since the brand has skipped both Black Friday and Cyber Monday in recent years, there is little reason to assume November 30 will suddenly bring a major direct sale.
A third-party retailer could always change its prices, but that is more about the retailer’s promotion than American Apparel itself.
If you find the exact item you want at a strong price during Thanksgiving week, there may be no benefit to waiting for Monday.
When Will We Know More About American Apparel Black Friday 2026?
If American Apparel changes course and announces a sale, we would expect to see something by mid-to-late November.
For now, the safer prediction is no official Black Friday event in 2026, based on the brand’s 2022–2025 history.
