Here’s a look to what we think you can expect from SSENSE’s upcoming Black Friday Sale 2025. That including our predictions on when it will begin, how deep the discounts may go, what kinds of items tend to be on offer, and examples from past sales.
When the Sale Likely Starts & How Long It Will Run
You can expect the main Black Friday event at SSENSE to kick off at ssense.com on Friday, November 28, 2025 (that’s on Black Friday itself). But it’s more of a “Winter Sale” than it is Black Friday as it typically runs well past Thanskgivng weekend. From past years we’ve seen deals stay live through December, and some of the discounts even get steeper around Christmas. So you’ve got a window. If you can wait a bit—or at least monitor items you want—sometimes better bargains pop up later in the season.
Before Black Friday you’ll probably see early-sale activity, especially in the week or so leading up to Thanksgiving. Select sale items often go live then, sometimes at modest discounts (up to ~50%) as they clear out inventory ahead of the bigger deals.
What Discounts to Expect

For FW25 styles (Fall/Winter 2025) you’ll probably see discounts up to 60% off on many pieces.

Later in the season (around Christmas and possibly in the post-holiday/new-year sales) they may push discounts further, sometimes up to 70% off on select styles.

Past “everything else” or end-of-season/home decor etc. sections have had discounts in the 50-60% range.

Some deeper cuts (70-80%) show up, but usually for items that are older, limited stock, or less in demand. You might not get 80% off FW25 immediately.
Which Brands & Categories Usually Feature
These are the kinds of brands and categories that tend to appear in SSENSE’s Black Friday / winter sales:

High-end / designer labels like Alexander Wang, Acne Studios, Balmain, Lanvin, Thom Browne, Opening Ceremony, Sophie Hulme, etc.

More fashion-forward or “cool-cult” brands and newer designers get included, especially in accessories, outerwear, and denim.

Shoes, bags, coats seem to be hot categories (people watch those closely). Also knitwear, sweaters, and tops get marked down.

Basics and smaller items (tees, accessories) are often discounted earlier or more deeply, because they move faster.

The Adidas Originals x Off-White Samba Millennium sneakers dropped from $250 to $188.

Aeyde’s Valerie black slingback heels went from $425 to $340.

The Staud Taru bag was on sale for $296, down from $395.

The Balenciaga XS Le Cagole sling shoulder bag dropped from $1,790 to $1,074.

In outerwear, Fear of God Essentials’ gray long coat was deeply discounted, down to $90 from $300.

Acne Studios had a navy fluid track jacket reduced from $750 to $518.

A GANNI gray parka coat was offered at $125 (from $265).

Maison Margiela’s Tabi ankle boots were reduced from $1,420 to about $497.
