Known for their dinnerware, glassware, flatware, and other tabletop items, Mikasa tends to offer some of their biggest discounts of the year around Thanksgiving. And based on what happened in 2024, we’ve got a pretty good idea of what’s likely in store for 2025.
Here’s a breakdown of everything you should know ahead of time: when the sale is likely to start, what kinds of discounts to expect, what items are usually included (and excluded), and even a few examples from last year that can give you an idea of what to look for this time around.
Likely Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates
Mikasa has followed a fairly predictable schedule over the past few years, and 2025 doesn’t look like it’s going to be any different. If things stay on track, here’s how the sale timeline will likely play out:

Pre-Black Friday Sale: Expected to start around November 20, 2025, a few days before Thanksgiving. This early access period usually features smaller but still decent discounts to get the ball rolling.

Main Black Friday Sale: Likely to begin on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, which is the day before Thanksgiving. This is when the biggest promotions kick in.

Sale End Date: Most likely to run through Sunday, November 30, 2025, giving you the whole Thanksgiving weekend to grab deals.

Cyber Monday: If you’re patient and want the biggest percentage off, Monday, December 1, 2025, might be the best day to shop. Last year, Cyber Monday featured slightly better discounts than Black Friday itself.
It’s worth noting that if you’re after the biggest discount, waiting until Cyber Monday could pay off. Just be prepared for some items to sell out before then.
Discount Levels to Expect
In 2024, they offered 35% off sitewide at mikasa.com when using a promo code (it was BF35 last year), and that applied to most regular-priced and even some clearance items.
However, Cyber Monday last year took things up a notch. If you held off until that Monday, the discount jumped to 40% off, and they also offered free shipping on all orders. That combination made it one of the best sale days of the year on their site.
Free Shipping Details
Shipping offers from Mikasa are usually tied to your order total. Last year, they offered free standard ground shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S. states on orders over $50 after discounts were applied. Orders under that threshold were charged a $9.95 flat shipping fee.
A few other things to remember:

Free shipping is for one shipping address per order.

Gift Cards don’t count toward the order total.

Shipping offers don’t apply to Alaska, Hawaii, or international orders.
These conditions are likely to stay the same for 2025.
What’s Usually Excluded
Not everything on Mikasa’s website is eligible for the full discount. Based on last year’s terms, here’s what was excluded and what might be again this year:

Deals Section: These items are often already discounted separately and won’t get the additional percent-off from the promo code.

Select Sale Items: Not everything on clearance will qualify for further discounts.

Gift Cards: You can’t buy Gift Cards with the promo code, and they don’t count toward the order minimum for free shipping.

Past Purchases: No price adjustments are usually offered if you bought something before the sale started.
So if you’re browsing the site and see something marked as a “deal” or heavily marked down already, check the fine print. It might not qualify for the promo code.
