Coldwater Creek’s Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

We still have a little bit of time left to go until Coldwater Creek’s Black Friday 2025 sale arrives, however, based on last year’s sale details, here’s a look at what kind of discounts you will likely see and how the timing usually works.

This year’s sale is expected to start earlier than Black Friday and run a bit past Cyber Monday, with sitewide savings that are applied to both regular and marked-down items (with some brand exceptions, which I’ll get into). It’s a straightforward promo, but there are still a few details to know before you shop.

Likely Black Friday 2025 Start & End Dates

If Coldwater Creek sticks with the same schedule they’ve used the last couple of years, their 2025 Black Friday sale will likely begin on or around Wednesday, November 13, 2025. That’s more than a week before Thanksgiving, which falls on November 27 this year. It’s also earlier than a lot of retailers launch their main promotions, which gives you a nice head start if you’re trying to beat the rush.

The sale is expected to run until a few days after Cyber Monday, with an end date likely set for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. That gives you close to three full weeks to shop. Just keep in mind that things can sell out before the end of the sale, especially clearance items and seasonal pieces.

Expected Discount and Promo Code

The main offer is expected to be 20% off your entire order, similar to what they ran last year. It should apply to most items sitewide, including items already on sale or clearance. Last year, you had to enter a promo code—HOLIDAY20—at checkout to get the discount, and I expect it’ll work the same way in 2025 unless they change the code.

A few important things to note:

  • Shipping and handling fees are typically excluded from the discount.

  • Taxes are also not included.

  • You’ll need to manually apply the code if shopping online or mention it if placing an order by phone.

  • The discount cannot be combined with other offers or promo codes.

  • It can’t be used on past purchases, and they don’t offer price adjustments if the price changes after you buy.

So while it’s a decent, broad sitewide discount, there are a few limitations.

Excluded Brands

Coldwater Creek’s 20% off offer usually applies to most products across the site, but there are brand exclusions you should know about. The following brands were excluded from the discount last year and are expected to be excluded again this year:

  • Acorn®

  • Bionica®

  • Børn®

  • Brand X Huaraches®

  • Cammina™

  • Chocolat Blu™

  • Cloud®

  • Comfortiva®

  • Frye®

  • Kork-Ease®

  • Komarov

  • Me Too®

  • Miz Mooz®

  • Nida Lu Handmade

  • Pikolinos®

  • Rieker®

  • Roan®

  • Söfft®

  • Sorel®

  • Spring Step®

  • Wacoal®

These brands usually have their own pricing policies or fixed discounts and are often excluded from promotional offers at retailers like Coldwater Creek. When you shop during the sale, you’ll usually see a disclaimer next to these items saying that the discount doesn’t apply.

Examples From Last Year’s Sale

To get a clearer idea of what might show up again this year, here are a few examples from Coldwater Creek’s 2024 Black Friday event. Prices below reflect typical pre-discount pricing, with the HOLIDAY20 code applied afterward:

  • Cable Knit Pullover Sweater – Was $89.95, marked down to $59.99, then an additional 20% off with the code (final price: ~$47.99).

  • Heritage Stretch Jeans – Regularly $79.95, no markdown, but with the 20% off code: ~$63.96.

  • Quilted Fleece-Lined Vest – Originally $109.95, on sale for $89.99, then ~ $71.99 with the code.

  • Holiday Printed Pajama Set – $59.95, no markdown, 20% off brings it to ~$47.96.

  • Statement Pendant Necklace – $39.95 full price, with code: ~$31.96.

These weren’t limited-time Lightning Deals or anything—you just had to apply the code at checkout. There were plenty of similar options across categories, especially in clearance.

Online vs. Phone Orders

You can use the discount code whether you’re ordering online or by phone, but you have to mention or enter it during checkout. Last year’s code was HOLIDAY20, and it’s expected to stay the same or be something very similar this year. Coldwater Creek typically doesn’t auto-apply promo codes, so don’t forget to type it in.

What About Shipping and Returns?

Shipping fees aren’t included in the discount, but Coldwater Creek usually offers flat-rate standard shipping or free shipping thresholds during big events like this. That part hasn’t been confirmed for 2025 yet, but it’s something to watch for.

Their return policy is also something to keep in mind:

  • Items marked Final Sale are not returnable.

  • Sale items can typically be returned unless otherwise stated.

  • Returns can be made by mail (with a prepaid return label fee deducted) or at retail locations, if applicable.

So if you’re unsure about size or fit, just check whether the item is eligible for return before buying.

Other Things to Know

There are a few other details about Coldwater Creek’s Black Friday promo that are worth pointing out:

  • Offer can’t be combined with other promotions. If there’s a deeper discount running on a specific product (like a flash sale), you’ll usually have to choose one or the other.

  • No rain checks or price adjustments. If something sells out or the price drops again after you buy, they generally won’t match it.

  • Availability can vary. Sale prices are subject to inventory levels, so sizes or colors may sell out early.

  • Coldwater Creek reserves the right to end the promotion early or make changes without notice. That’s listed in their fine print each year.
