Updated on Thursday, October 15, 2026: AutoZone has not released its Black Friday 2026 ad yet, but last year’s Holiday Deals event gives us a useful idea of what to expect.
In 2025, AutoZone started its holiday sale on November 18 and kept it running all the way through December 29. The promotion covered oil change bundles, winter essentials, tools, detailing products, battery chargers and other automotive gear.
For 2026, we expect another long sale window rather than a traditional one-week Black Friday event.

When Will AutoZone Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best estimate is around November 17–19.
Last year’s event began November 18 and continued through December 29, making it much longer than a typical Black Friday sale. Deals were available both online and in stores while supplies lasted.
That makes AutoZone a retailer where there is little reason to wait until November 27 if the item you need is already discounted earlier in the month.
What Did AutoZone Offer Last Black Friday?
The 2025 event had a broad mix of automotive deals rather than one sitewide percentage discount.
Some of the better offers included:
| 2025 Deal | Sale Price or Offer |
|---|---|
| STP Full Synthetic 5 qt + STP filter | $29.99 |
| Valvoline Full Synthetic + STP filter | $35.99–$37.99 |
| Castrol EDGE Full Synthetic + STP filter | $35.99–$47.99 |
| Mobil 1 Extended Performance + Mobil 1 filter | $47.99 |
| Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner | Buy 1, get 1 free |
| Rain-X Washer Fluid | 2 for $10 |
| Duralast 265-pc Mechanics Tool Set | $179.99 |
| Total Pro 3-Ton Low-Profile Floor Jack | $129.99 |
| Innova Smart Diagnostic Tablet | $454.99 |
The sale also included discounts and bonus rewards on wipers, car-care products and winter accessories.

Oil Change Bundles Should Be One of the Best Deals
Oil and filter bundles are one of the most predictable AutoZone holiday categories.
Last year, shoppers could choose between several major oil brands paired with qualifying filters, with prices generally ranging from about $30 to the upper $40s.
For 2026, we would expect similar bundle pricing.
If you already know the oil specification and filter your vehicle needs, these can be among the easiest AutoZone Black Friday deals to judge.
Tools and Garage Equipment Are Worth Watching
AutoZone also used the 2025 sale to discount larger garage items.
The Duralast 265-piece mechanics set was $70 off, while a 3-ton low-profile floor jack was $30 off. Diagnostic and battery equipment also received markdowns.
For 2026, this is one of the better categories to watch if you are buying for a home garage or shopping for a practical gift.
The biggest discounts will probably be on specific models rather than every tool in the store.
Wipers and Car Care May Lean on Bonus Rewards
Not every AutoZone deal comes as an immediate price cut.
In 2025, buying two Bosch ICON or Envision wiper blades earned a $15 Bonus Reward, while certain Chemical Guys and Meguiar’s purchases also generated rewards.
That is important because the true value depends on whether you will actually use the reward later.
If you are a regular AutoZone shopper, those offers can be worthwhile. If you only visit once or twice a year, a direct discount may be more useful.
AutoZone Rewards Is Worth Joining Before Black Friday
AutoZone Rewards is free to join.
Members earn one credit for each qualifying purchase of $20 or more, and five credits earn a $20 Reward. Credits are valid for one year, while standard Rewards generally expire after 90 days.
The program also tracks purchases and warranties and gives members access to personalized offers.
Because AutoZone often uses Bonus Rewards during promotional events, it makes sense to have your account set up before Black Friday.
Winter Car Care Should Be a Major Part of the Sale
AutoZone’s 2025 Holiday Deals event included inflators, hand warmers, washer fluid and other cold-weather products.
That is likely to return because late November lines up naturally with winter car preparation.
The categories worth checking include:
- windshield washer fluid
- wiper blades
- battery chargers
- portable inflators
- emergency lights
- jump starters
- ice and snow accessories
These products may not generate the biggest headline discounts, but they are often among the more practical seasonal buys.
Batteries May Not Be the Deepest Black Friday Category
AutoZone’s strongest holiday offers tend to be on accessories, maintenance items and tools rather than across-the-board battery discounts.
That does not mean there will be no battery promotions, but we would not assume Black Friday will automatically be the cheapest time to replace one.
If your current battery is failing, waiting several weeks to save a small amount is probably not worth it.
Returns Are Fairly Straightforward
AutoZone currently allows most store purchases to be returned within 90 days as long as the item is in original condition and packaging and you have the receipt. Used or installed items may be refused.
Online purchases can also be returned to an AutoZone store, which is usually the simplest option.
Mail returns are available for eligible products, but the original shipping charge is generally not refunded unless AutoZone made an error or the product arrived damaged.
Keep Receipts for Warranty and Returns
Auto parts are a little different from clothing or electronics because compatibility matters.
If you buy a part during Black Friday, keep the receipt and original packaging until you know it fits and works correctly.
AutoZone Rewards can also help here because the program tracks purchases and warranties in your account.
That can be useful months later if a part develops a problem.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not.
Last year’s AutoZone sale ran continuously from November 18 through December 29, so Black Friday and Cyber Monday were simply part of a much longer holiday event.
That means there was no clear reason to expect November 30 to suddenly bring dramatically better prices.
If the oil bundle, tool set or winter accessory you want is already at a good price, buying earlier is usually fine.
When Will the AutoZone Black Friday 2026 Ad Be Released?
Mid-November is our best estimate.
The 2025 Holiday Deals event started November 18 with a four-page ad, so we would expect the 2026 promotion to appear around the same point in the month.
Once AutoZone releases its 2026 ad, we’ll update this page with the confirmed sale dates and standout deals on oil, filters, tools, wipers, battery equipment and winter car care.
