Happy holidays everyone! Hope you had a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving, and of course, you found some awesome deals over Black Friday. Well, if one of the things that you bought for yourself is a new laptop or if your existing subscription has come up for a renewal, then here’s our list of favorite deals for Norton Security Deluxe, which is newly updated for 2016, this month in December.
Pick up a 1-year subscription for 5 devices on sale for $49.99 at norton.com with this instant offer (it normally costs $79.99). You’ll be able to install the protection on a mix of PC’s and Mac’s, and if you do it to the max level of devices, your cost only comes out to be on $8.00 per machine. No coupon code is needed because the sale price will automatically be reflected in your cart. However the bad news is that it’s only valid in the U.S. so all our friends overseas will not be able to take advantage of the discount. You’ll also have plenty of time to pick up this discount because the offer lasts through Christmas and into the new year, expiring on January 1, 2016.
Amazon’s another one of those places where we like to pick up or software (and we’re not alone as they are Norton’s #1 reseller in the world). The biggest advantage of getting Deluxe from them is the price – It’s always on sale, usually also at the $49.99 price point. Just don’t quote us on it because they adjust their prices all the time so at any given moment it can be a few buck more or a few bucks less than that. The only disadvantage is that software from Amazon, particularly the downloadable versions, are non refundable while purchases directly from Symantec include a full 60-day money back guarantee. More details at amazon.com.
If you’re an existing Norton customer and you’re up for a renewal, then you’re probably getting in-product reminders asking you to extend your service for mother year. But often you’ll notice that their renewal prices are not as good as some of the non-renewal discounts out there. Remember, you are not required to renew your subscription and can always buy the same 1 or 2 year licenses that are available to everyone. We encourage you to check your renewal options and pricing before you make your ultimate decision.
Finally, if you have a business account at Staples, Best Buy, CDW, or other reseller, then you’ll also be able to pick up a deal there, even if it’s not on sale. Wait, what, you ask? Yes it’s true, may traditional brick and mortar stores over have price match policies that will adjust their listed price if you can show another authorized Norton store has the exact same product listed for less. This is particularly true for Staples and Best Buy because both will match against Amazon.
If you want to see the rest of the offers in December 2015 from Norton, then we’ve listed them in detail here on this page.
